Book review of ‘The Other Side Of Me’ – By Best selling Author  Sidney Sheldon

This autobiographical memoir shows a side of Sidney Sheldon that we never knew of. The writing in this memoir is pure, raw and heartbreaking. This book surely teaches us the lessons for lifetime. It shows us that even in the hardest times we shoud not give up, as we never know whats going to happen next. The words, the quotes he has used in the book forever get embedded in our mind.

‘The Other Side Of Me’, is truly the other side of Sidney Sheldon we never knew of. His books have always been of suspense, crime, power, money, but this one, friends, is a heart touching story of himself, put across in a humorous way.

The story flows from a regular kid to his daily struggle to get into hollywood to becoming a script writer and then a producer. Its just brilliant. His humourous side makes his autobiography worth the read.

So in case you want to go on a emotional ride, grab this book and read it right away. It shows emotional vulnerability, mental problems, rejections, suicidal thoughts, love, death, but at the same time it also shows us that if one never gives up, every single piece starts fitting in the puzzle and happiness can still be achieved in the midst of panic attacks and heartbreaks.

In the climax, the author talks about his down fall as a scrip writer, director, producer and how he manages to pick himself up and rise again.

I am sure this book will always be the best autobiography you have ever read. So, if you have 3 to 4 hours in your hand go ahead and read it.
