Murder On The Orient Express – By Agatha Christie; Book Review

Murder on the Orient Express, one of Agatha Christie’s most famous novels is a work of detective fiction featuring the Belgian detective Hercule Poirot.

A train. A murder. Multiple suspects. Nearly an alibi for everyone. And of course a motive for every suspect to commit the crime. The book has it all.

The elegant train of the 1930s, the Orient Express, is stopped by heavy snowfall. As a murder is discovered, detective Hercule Poirot who is among the passengers takes the charge.

Christie writes the story in a wonderful fashion She lingers over each of the characters in order to solve the mystery of who murdered the American tycoon onboard.

But the suspense is maintained wonderfully from start to finish. The mystery of how the seemingly impossible murder occurred is then solved by the most intelligent and dashing Hercule Poirot. The twist as the mystery is solved, is brilliantly imagined and the ending offers the readers a satisfying conclusion to the captivating case.

This classic fiction novel has an easy to understand language. The story line, the plot and the characters are so interesting that one cannot put the book aside.

Agatha Christie, the “Queen of Mysteries” as we all know, writes mystery novels that leave us in awe thinking about what happened. And this is no doubt one of her best works!

So I can just say, it is a must read for all the fans of AGATHA CHRISTIE and those who love THRILLER MYSTERIES .

Highly recommended!
