I am not a Hindu,
I am not a Muslim,
I am not a Sikh or a Christian,
A Buddhist or a Jew.

I am not an Indian,
An Asian, a South-Asian,
A Brownie, A Coolie,
A snake-charmer or a shrew.

Stripped of all my labels,
I am just a human being,
Sharing this planet with you,
And you, minus all your labels,
Are a person – just like me.

We come from the same,
And after some time,
We go back to the same.
In this brief period
That we share this Earth,
Together..

Can we smile at each other,
Hold hands, whistle a tune,
And skip our way down this magical road..
Together?
