Magic of monsoon

This is a strange experience I lovingly admire,
When the rain sets my heart on fire,
Enjoying rhythmic orchestra of pouring rain,
My aspirations from sleep refrain,
Sleep soaked in this musical scheme,
Stops me at the door of dream,
My desire like a butterfly hover,
Drawn by some mesmeric power,
It has happened time and again,
Strange is the magic of monsoon rain.
